A solid little freeware adaptation of Chinese Checkers, this title is kinda stripped down to the bone but has a good interface and serves as a good introduction to the game with a computer that is competent but not overly challenging (and the ability to play with two or three other people in hot seat competition).

The only real garnishment is your choice of six sedated downbeat MIDIs, all with the same odd “cheap keyboard preset” backing drum track … they don’t loop though, so expect total silence after a couple of minutes unless you click over to a new one. It is cool that you can freely switch them in-game, though.
The lack of CPU difficulty selection or a sense of progression means that this kinda has limited utility, but I think it’s a good free way for someone new to the game to explore it without getting frustrated/bored by a bad AI balance, or as something to grab real quick for in-home multiplayer without having to worry about mobile app nonsense. Will run on pretty much anything to boot.
