An almost jarringly basic casino sim, Vegas Games dumps you off in Low Res Frozen In Time Casino with a solid list of games but like zero attempt at presentation or panache at all. There aren’t even sound effects of any sort, just constant zombie music as you move from game to game.
The games are roundly basically competent, but just have no sense of fun whatsoever. There are also no objectives or anything to do outside of the games; you start a new player, they get $5000, only goal is Make Money Go Up.
I can’t say it’s really bad as the games work as intended, but that seemed to be the only objective. The graphics and audio are low-effort, there’s absolutely nothing extra, and it really feels like a game design student’s first real project (and a nice object lesson in how important sound effects are).
